Dr Mentor Ahmeti is the Kenneth Helenbolt Distinguished Professor of Surgery and Vice-Chair of the Department of Surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He serves as Chief of the Trauma Service Line at Sanford Medical Center Fargo and is the current President of the North Dakota Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He also serves as Vice President for the United States at the Kosova College of Surgeons, where he has been instrumental in spearheading the promulgation of Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) in Kosovo and collaborates closely with the KCS Committee on Trauma to develop a framework for a comprehensive trauma system in the country. His work focuses on trauma system development and surgical education across the region and internationally.
